Having trouble

My shutter will not open and when I look through the viewfinder I see nothing.

Need more information. What camera? If it's a DSLR, I'd assume your mirror is stuck up. Or you have the lens cap on.

Guess you were wrong if it was based on the guest 'status'. This is the visitor section, after all.

Ah, my bad. I was using Tapatalk on iPad, and it told me the user was banned. Combined with the lack of info (spammy sounding post), I assumed that was accurate. Tapatalk is weird...if a function isn't supported, I guess it just generates some random info, LOL. Not the first time it's done something weird like that.

If you are seeing nothing when looking thru the viewfinder you could have liveview on. Depending, of course on the camera.
