Recover color from pic taken in text mode

I have an Optio A30 and had reason to use the text mode to transfer a signature to a document needing signing. At my next use of the camera I took numerous shots in a butterfly house. The camera was still in text mode and I stupidly ignored the icon telling me that for more times than I care to admit. My question is: Can I recover the color in these shots? They are still in the camera and I do have Photoshop Elements 5 but do not want to get involved in painting color in. Thanks. Jim

If text mode just shoots BW jpegs (which I'm pretty sure it does), then I think there's no way to recover the color.

You are S.O.L. unfortunately. Can you revisit the flutterby house?
