SMC Pentax-M 50mm 1.4

Hey guys, I have these lens and I want to know if it's compatible with the Canon TX. If anyone knows something about it, please help me! Thank you.

According to a google search the TX has a FD mount, which has a flange distance of 42mm. I think that the mirror may be hitting the rear element of the lens near infinity.

Oh I see... I'm a newbie on photography and had just one experience with my old lomo, so I founded these lens along filters, a flash and some other stuff that were from my grandpa, but his camera was stolen (a Pentax ME Super). I'm searching for a camera body that fits the 50mm lens, and found this Canon TX. Do you think a Pentax K1000 it's a good deal with these lens?
(Sorry for my english, I'm brazillian)
Thank you again!

If you are a newbie to photography the Pentax K1000 is the very best camera for you to get IMHO and works with the lens you have which is also one of my my favorite lenses.

Couldnt agree more! Thats what I used when I took a photography class in college. You can get yourself a K1000 for next to nothing on ebay (prob around $30-$40). In terms of functionality, it will be identical to the TX, with the added benefit the K1000's top shutter speed is 1/1000.
