Is my Sigma Zoom Master 1:3.5~4.5 f=35~70mm lens will work with the Pentax KX?

A friend of my father gave me a Pentax SF7 with the lens, Sigma Zoom Master 1:3.5~4.5 f=35~70mm. I like it. And now I'm thinking of buying a SLR camera. After some research I'm thinking of getting the Pentax KX but the seller's selling it without the lens. Will the lens of my other camera will work with the KX?

Thank you!!

Yes, this lens behaves like a SMC Pentax-F lens it will work with full AF and AE capabilities (if you're talking about the digital K-x). See these two articles:

With that said, you may want to get a wide lens as well. 35mm is more like a standard focal length on the K-x, because it's a crop-format APS-C camera.
