ACDSee for Pentax 2.0

Un-installed my ACDSee for Pentax 2.0 as my computer engineer thought it may be contributing to a problem I was having with my computer. However my computer is now fixed so I have re-installed the programme but it looks nothing like the original one, the original feature which would let me open a photo with ACDSee is gone along with all the editing tools that contained and when I play the slide show I keep getting pixels showing before the photograph which is most unpleasant. Can't understand why the re-installed programme should be different from the original. I would be most grateful for any comments. Many thanks.
