I have just purchased a pentax K30. I will be using it to photograph jewelry. I would like to know how to set it up so I can snap the photo & the image goes direct to my computer, preferably directly into Photo shop CS5. Can this be done?

I believe you are talking about tethering and I believe it can't be done with pentax cameras past a certain model. However, I think you can do it with an eye-fi card. Perhaps if you search for "tethering options pentax" you'll find something? PK Tether is out there - but I don't think it will play nice with the k30.

Actually, be advised that the 8gb cards are only Class 6 so write speeds will be slower. Perhaps look for the 16gb Class 10 card.

There is a freeware software called PK tether which is supposed to work well, but I've never used it. I suggest you try it.
