Is Histogram RAW or JPG?

With K200d, when I shoot RAW+JPG, is histogram seen in playback the RAW or JPG file?

jpeg, but if you lower the contrast/sharpening and use the "natural" setting, its pretty close to what the raw will show

I would add that the jpg display may also make EV adjustments. When you pull the RAW file into your software, it may be darker or lighter than the image and histogram you saw on the camera back.

Just to follow up on this thread, I had noticed for some time that the histogram on my RAW files always shows an image underexposed when compared to its JPG (I shoot RAW+). Today was cloudy, so I took a gray card out on the patio and shot a few frames, using each of the color settings on my K-5. Excepting the "muted" color setting, the histogram for every JPG file was centered on the scale. When I pulled the RAW file into UFRAW, the RAW file was 1/2 to 2/3 of a stop to the left of the JPG histogram. My preliminary conclusion is that the K-5's RAW to JPG processing is brightening my photos.

Anyone else have a similar (or different) experience?

Ive noticed this too. I use "Natural" setting with all the sliders on the center expect for "High/Low Key Adj" at -1. This looks quite similar to the histogram generated by LR 4.4
If the histogram in the K-5 extends a little bit beyond whites, I know it will be ok when imported to LR.

I think it has to do with software too. The RAW to JPEG converter on the K-5 is 3 years old now. For example, when I upgraded from LR 3 to LR 4, photos that showed burnt areas in LR 3 can be recovered in LR 4.
