K-30 frozen

My Pentax K30 has frozen ON with the last photo taken displayed on the viewing screen. I can't turn it off. Should I remove the battery while it is in this frozen state?

Well if you can't turn it off, the battery will die eventually so that would be the same as pulling it now I guess, good luck.

Yup, generally speaking if you camera freezes, just pull out the battery. Freezes are rare, but they happen more often if your batter was low to begin with.
