For portrait? Any of the cameras will do just fine ... lenses are the ones you should worry about.
As a matter of fact any of the cameras you mention will do a great job in more than just portrait photography.

Get a K30 and put your money towards good lenses!

No difference whatsoever, unless you're also shooting clothing, in which case the K-5 would be better due to having less moire. It's all about the lenses for portraiture- you'll want something like the DA* 55mm F1.4.

Very good suggestion for a lens....

As for camera body, anything from K10 and up should give quite decent portraiture with the right lens....the really tough thing in portraits is lighting...

Yep, anything from K10 up. Lens, Tamron 28-75 or a Pentax 50-135. No $$$? Pentax F70-210 or A 70-210. And lighting is more important, almost as important in knowing what you're trying to achieve, planning it and building trust with the subject.

Pff, here in Sweden the K-5 and the K-30 cost basically the same. So that statement is false in many parts of the world.
