pentax istD ; majenta cast to photos

very recently all photos taken with my pentax istD have displayed a majenta cast; have reset all functions to default, changed chips,, changed batteries ..same result

I don't know about the *istD but my *istDL picked up a color cast back at Christmas. It turned out that some how the white balance got out of wack. The manual told how to recalibrate it . I did and it still works fine I would try that . I used that for an excuse to buy mt K-30. I do still use the DL tho not as much as I used to.
