K2000 seems dead.

I have a K2000 which recently started shutting down just a few minutes after switching on. Not the energy saving shutdownm, I mean the screen goes blank, no lights. Switch it off and on again, nothing. Up until last week, when I needed the camera for a graduation ceremony, I could get it work intermittently. Now however it just will not switch on. I've tried new batteries several times, so I know it isn't that. I've tried different lenses, it isn't that. How do I get power back so I can use what is now an expensive paperweight?

Are you sure the batteries have a charge?

Cheap or low quality batteries can cause this problem.

Try Eneloop batteries - they've solved a lot of issues.
