Each camera brand (Pentax, Canon, Nikon, Sony,..) has its own lens mount and it makes lenses for that mount. Some lens brands, like Sigma and Tamron, make lenses for many different camera brands. So when you buy a lens like that, make sure it is "for Pentax."
The Pentax mount is called K-mount, sometimes PK or even RK, and Zeiss calls it ZK. But generally, the box should say "For Pentax" on modern lenses. If you are buying ancient lenses, they would probably say K mount.
All K-mount lenses will fit on your modern Pentax DSLR. Ancient lenses might have some limitations, like no AF (because the lenses were made before AF was invented) or other automations.
