Why do I now get color negatives when I take a picture?

That what you get when you shoot color film.

That's probably because you have the "inverse color" filter on.

I'm assuming that you have a recent Pentax DSLR for the following fix:
Press the INFO button until the settings screen appears. Select the icon that looks like a screw-in filter and press OK.
The filter screen will appear. Disable the inverse color filter from there.
