Hello,

How do I charge my battery in my Pentax K5 camera? Do I need an adapter that I plug into a wall outlet or is there another way to charge it. Also, if I do need an adapter, where can I buy one

Your camera should have came with a charger (D-BC90). If you got it used and it didn't come with one, you can get an OEM almost anywhere online (ebay, Adorama, Amazon). But given the price you should look at getting a good quality aftermarket combo (batteries and charger) like a Wasabi.

Just to clarify, your camera will not charge a battery. You must remove the battery and place it in a separate charger like the one fgaudet suggests.
