Can't see a thing through the Pentax kx view finder

I noticed today that I couldn't see through the view finder of my KX. I did remove the lens and noticed that the mirall is not dropping enough seems like it's stuck (not sure). I tried to gently move it but couldn't get unstuck it. Any advice will be appreciated.

Do you have the KX film camera or the K-x dSLR?

If it is the digital K-x: remove battery. charge it. leave it outside of camera overnight. test it to see if battery works. try again.
Do you have AA battery adapter? You can try that. I suspect the problem might be the battery.

If you are talking about the older film KX camera, I don't know.
