what are the settings for shooting the aroura with a pentax k 50 and a 18-55mm lens ?

Use widest 18mm focal length. Aperture full open or close to (f 3.5 - 4). If you have a powerful aurora 5-15 sec, 15-60 sec if it is weaker (not visible with your eyes). ISO 800-3200 (try 1600 first). Find a place without too much light pollution. Lock focus at infinity before.
