IMGP Meaning

What does imgp stand for?

Annoyingly, not all Pentax cameras have this facility. The Q for example.

By default, IMGP is AdobeRGB and _IMG is sRGB as well, just in case you ever fiddle with things and suddenly see the prefix change.

That is backwards, assuming my K5iis is the standard Pentax setup. IMGP sets the color space to sRGB, and _IMG sets the color space to AdobeRGB. Or did Pentax change its setup depending on the camera model?

You probably want sRGB for most ordinary purposes....

I was going by memory, so I could of mentally swapped them. I'll go check and....

...you're right. K-3's showing sEGB as IMGP and AdobeRGB with the _IMG
