Hi I was just given an older Hanimex 80 to 200 mm lens with a 2 x Teleconverter, I believe it has a Pentax mount. Can I get an adaptor to enable me to use this lens manually on my Nikon 5100. Any help would be appreciated. Regards Rob

Rob, there are adapters but in general it is not cost effective unless the lens has some special attachment to you, like belonging to you grandfather or something. You might be better off selling it on ebay and getting one for Nikon mount.

Look here: FotodioX Pro Lens Mount Adapter for Pentax K Lens to PK-NK-G B&H It will act as a 1.4x teleconverter because the registration distance is different from Nikon to Pentax.
