Pentax-K1, Playback: Is it possible to switch Images if zoomed in?

Hi,

I have studied the K-1 manual, but could not find any hint if it is possible in playback to "jump" from image to image if zoomed in.
Most cameras I know (Canon, Nikon, Pentax K-30) do have this feature, but not my Pentax K-01.
So does anybody know if the K-1 can do this?

Thanks,
Martin

I don't have a K-1, but I'll suggest trying the front E-dial.
Do you have a K-1 or K-01?

Hi,

I have the Pentax K-01 and the K-30 only.
And the manual of K-30 does describe this feature.
But the K-01 and the K-1 manual do not.
So maybe a K-1 user can tell if this feature is available.

Best regards,
Martin

Ok.

Since the K-01 only has one e-dial I am not sure if this feature is possible.
As all other Pentax models use the back to zoom and the front one to change photos.

I hope and think you are right.
But the strange thing is that the K-30 manual describes this feature in detail, but the K-1 manual does not.

Best regards,
Martin

The K-1 behaves the same as the K-50, I'm sure I would have noticed otherwise.

Yep, the front e-dial will move to the next image.

Ok, thank you all!
I just took a look to the k-50 manual and it says:

"Front e-dial (R)
Retains the magnification and the
position of the display area and shows
the previous/next image."

The same as my K-30 manual says.
So I asume, as "Topsy" says, the K-1 behaves the same.

(Just strange that these lines are missing in the K-1 manual.)

Thanks,
Martin
