It will be complicated at best if not impossible - at least that is my take based on this info: Sony HVL-F42AM flash review Per that site, this flash has the Sony proprietary hot shoe, and when used with radio triggers it requires a Sony body to be used to turn it on properly. If power save happens, you have to mount it to the Sony body again and perform the ritual again  If you no longer have the Sony body, sell the flash and buy something else to pair with the Pentax. | |

Long time no see ... Thanks for the quick reply, guys. I was afraid to hear that  I no longer have that Sony body (actually Konica Minolta) so it seems I have to get rid of the flash too ... |
