As a rule of thumb, newer Pentax bodies fully support the AF and exposure systems of older lenses. So, the 18-270mm will work just fine.
Since it's a SDM lens, you won't be able to activate continuous video autofocus, but that feature doesn't work particularly well anyway. You can still use on-demand video autofocus, however. All AF modes for stills through the viewfinder and live view are of course supported.
I would personally recommend the 18-135mm DC + 55-300mm PLM over the 18-270mm lens, as you'll get better image quality and much faster AF. (plus weather sealing)
