k 50 shake reduction shake

My k 50 now 4 years old, has developed a shake problem. When on live view , mirror up or on long exposures the shake reduction starts shaking without stopping, just keeps going.

Any ideas................................thanks

Are you experiencing this on hand-held or on tripod?

It's normal for the camera to make some noise. If the shaking is causing your images to be blurry, or if it seems out of control, then you'll either need to have the camera serviced or replaced.

Sounds as if you are on a tripod when this happens, if so, turn off shake reduction. If that doesn't solve the problem get another camera as the cost of repair will probably be too high or don't use or long exposures or mirror up.

It’s normal. Shake reduction is always on when the camera is on. It just behaves slightly differently when disabled.
