There's a B option on the rotary dial... so I'm not sure I understand the question!

Just turn the mode dial to "B" and fire away. It would be a good idea to pick up a remote control F if you don't have one already, so that you don't add any vibrations to your setup. Also, make sure your tripod is sturdy enough to support the lens/focal length you're using.

Set to b and you need to keep the shutter button pressed. Or go to menu c 1 and number 7 lets you change that so that it stays open until you depresss the 2nd time. At least on the ks-2.
