replacement gasket

I have a Pentax WG-3 underwater camera. I remember reading somewhere, when I first got the camera, that the battery door gasket should be changed every so often to keep it waterproof. I know this camera is discontinued, but Ricoh has the WG-4 which is basically the same body. Is this part available without sending the camera back for service? Right now there is nothing wrong with the camera at all, it is still waterproof, but when I shut the battery door, there is no resistance like when it was new ( gasket compressing) Thank you for your time in this matter

I don't know what country you are from, but Ricoh will not sell parts directly to customers in the US. The policy seems to be the same in many other countries.

Try USCamera.com. They take parts requests if they don't have it listed on their website. They ship overseas.
