Silky pics not working with microsoft edge

Anyone have trouble getting the Pentax silky pic software to work with microsoft edge? Mine worked fine with Windows 7 but when I upgraded to the new Windows 10, my software will not load or open. I'm not very computer savvy, so any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi John I'm not too familiar with either but EDGE has a backwards compatibility with explorer, check the settings in EDGE.

What version of Silky Pics are you using? The full studio versions or the one that shipped with the K-30/50? If the latter I suggest upgrading to Digital Camera Utility which is include with most of the other K series DSLRs. If you are using the full version, see about updating.

You can still run Internet Explorer. Click on the Windows start button and type Internet Explorer and pick the app. You can set it as you default browser in the App Defaults settings.

What does a browser have to do with Silkypix?
Silkypix is a self-contained program

Silky Pix doesn't use Edge, John.

If you like the product, perhaps now is the time to buy its latest version.

Most Win 7 software had to be upgraded in order to work with Win 10.
If it is your copy of "Silky Pic" that won't load or open, most likely you will have to get the latest version of it.
