My K-50 is giving dark photos

Hi David. Can you post some examples, with exposure details? Does it happen with more than one lens?

The K-50 is one of the Pentax bodies prone to aperture block failure, which can certainly do this. There are many threads here discussing the issue.

Welcome to Pentax Forums!

Sorry to hear about your dark images. I assume that you're setting the exposure correctly and the camera was acting properly before.

The threads that are marked as 'sticky' in the section at the following link deal with the so-called 'aperture block failure'.
