Another Q image from flickr user nkenji. This is using Pentax Q+smc PENTAX FA 645 400mm f5.6. This looks sharper than his other moon photo full size.

That guy has some great gear - a K-5, a 645D, a Q, and some very exotic big glass.

Don't show OGL those it will shatter his imagination.

Russian photographer using the Q - not ogl, probably :

Says: "Turns out Pentax Q is a great tool for street photo. It's so small and discreet that nobody notices it." Which makes perfect sense.

Only a few photos so far, worth keeping an eye on his photostream.

But his profile says home is Nizhny Novgorod, so I thought Russian. Maybe he is just visiting/working in Ukraine.

We disown any Russian that uses Q. It is simple as they make'em.

This is a M67 lens so the crop factor on Q is not ~5X as in a 35mm body but like ~10X. Correct me if I am wrong.

You're both right and wrong
Focal length is absolute, it doesn't matter which format it's made for as long as the image circle is large enough.
But if you want to compute the 67-equivalent focal length (which focal length you need in order to get the same FOV on a 67 camera), your ~10x factor is right.

Thank you for the explanation. Actually I was a little disappointed when saw the 2200mm equivalence performance (from rawr). But if it was actually ~4000mm, I don't have much complain

Like Captain Kirk: he was born in Iowa. He just works in outer space.

Mounted on a Pentax Q the M*67 400mm f4 delivers the same angle of view as a 2,200mm lens on a 24x36 body or a 4,500mm lens on a Pentax 67.
