Using the adapter video by Adam.
A couple of comments:
The correct foot to use is the one from the DA*300, the one used in the video is too tall.
When using a lens with it's own aperture ring you should set the adapter to L so that the aperture can be set with the lens.

I know this thread is very old, but I thought that my request might be related to this thread:
I was checking the FW version on my Q7 while the Pentax Adapter Q for K mount lens was attached to it, and when I got in the menu for FW information of my device, I noticed that the Q2K adapter was listed there with FW version 1.00.

So my question is simple: is there a FW version available for that adapter ? (I searched here in PF and on the Japan Ricoh site, and couln't find any information about that...

can someone confirm if that exists or not ?

Apart from the camera bodies only the 01 and 02 lenses ever got a firmware update.

Thanks Steephill, I didn't noticed that... I didn't know we could update FW on lenses (apparently, only those Q lenses are listed there)
