Is devorama the only Q user here?

A suit took my Q budget...hopefully it will be $250 by Christmas

I also have a Q. Love it and think its worth every penny I paid for it. Thankfully, I don't wear suits. Hope you get your Q soon.
thanks

It's still within three cents of the US Dollar.

Got my Q 3 weeks ago...

and I've been lovin' it ever since. Go to the Flickr website and search groups for the Pentax Q and you can see a lot of examples of what this fine camera can do (I'm remnant4)...It's the "Little Camera That Could (and DID)!"

I got mine yesterday, while the battery was charging I cut a hole in the body cap and got my Q-110 adapter up and functional.
There's a few pictures on my Flickr page, a few from the adapted lenses, a few from the 8.5. Nothing too special yet, just test shots...

How about a video, Clicker?

I tried out the "interval movie" feature on the drive home from work today, and I found out the maximum number of images you can capture is 359. I wanted to do one second intervals for 15 minutes - not possible. So I shot it at 5 second intervals and produced this video: Drive Home Time Lapse | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Maybe a firmware update could increase this ceiling, but I have a feeling the limit is hardware-related. Increased choice in the intervals would be welcome though, I could have worked with a 3 second interval and stayed within the limit of 359, but the only choices are 1s, 5, 10, 30, etc.
Meh, back to regular old interval-shooting and quicktime for me...

Good news: I used the in-camera video editing feature to cut off the end of the video and it worked very well.

Nice time lapse, you need music for it

Now Pentax has another truly portable equipment for those who are looking for something portable and versatile ...you can use that Gorilla Pod to mount it to your bike or whatever you can probably similar or better than a GoPro system.

The gorillapod is a fussy little thing, I wouldn't use it on a bike...but a handlebar mount is easy enough to come across. I'm certainly looking forward to using this camera for more time lapse.

The Q ate my dinner!

Here's one from the Pentax-110 50mm f/2.8 on my homemade adapter:

One of these days I will glue the extension to the body cap...but the tape works just fine.

I have a Q as well. Got it about a week ago. I just haven't had much time to work with it. Here's a shot I took of my puppydog using an external flash in the bounce position.
