Pentax 1/2" CCTV 8-48mm f/1 Lens

Just got the lens in. It's huge compared to the Q. About the same length as the Q and height but 2 inches in diameter. The screws for this lens are nice thumb screws and you can leave them slightly lose as all the rings feel very smooth and solid and stay in place. It goes from f/1 to f/22 and from a 35mm equivalent of 46mm to 267mm in range. I'm waiting on my Q-C mount adapter still to test it but will post shots as soon as I can. So far I'm impressed with the lens.

Please don't be using a Tiffen UV filter on that Q standard prime ....

You won't be properly seeing the potentiial of that lens or the camera if you do.

Ah thank you, good to know! I didn't know they were that bad. Might explain some of the shot I get with my 50mm 1.4. I guess I'll just use them as a backup if I'm taking the camera to a placeI'm worried about or buy some better quality ones later. Thanks!

That looks like a good thing. Even at f1 you should make sharp pictures with that small sensor.
