Playing with the Q and 03 Fish-Eye

Very harsh lighting conditions (inside a poorly lit station, harsh sun coming in thru the garage doors) and as a bonus a reflection of me in the bumper

Good job over coming the harsh lighting conditions. Love the FE perspective. Amazing dynamic range for a small sensor.
thanks for sharing

Snapshots from London

Some snaps I took up in London last weekend. Some shots in well lit areas and a lot of shots in a club that was not very well lit. This was my first outing with the camera.

I *love* the Q. The normal + zoom lens + camera fits in a LowePro pouch in my briefcase, hence it's always with me when away - ready for those odd off moments one gets. IQ is quite respectable. I'd wish for a non-toy FishEye and tele prime, though, but come time.....

A couple of random Q-shots from my recent travels.

And a whole swag from a trip to the pub with eddie on Saturday, mostly taken with the in camera B&W filter thingy (front dial) set. Lighting in the venue was pretty tough, as you can see!

Fun with my Q...

At the Aviation Museum

At the Canadian War Museum

Memorial Hall at the Canadian War Museum

This bunker type room is a memorial to the Unknown Soldier. There is a headstone on the left wall, and only 1 window on the right wall. The window is strategically placed to that the sun shines on the headstone every November 11th at 11h11 on remembrance day.

I'm walking around with a Q for a few weeks. I like the 01-lens, but the 02-lens is not so strong (to me at the moment).

standard 01 lens:

with the zoom lens:
