I'm with RonHendriks1966 on that the 01 is a fantastic little lens. The 02 though small seems huge on the Q.

With the 01 - HDR auto

With the 02 - 5mm

Birding with P. Angenieux 12-120 f/2.2.

Cheapy ebay c-mount 25mm f/1.4 with extension tubes, not quite 1:1, but close.

A bit back, when tulips were invading the garden.....mainly to play with how much OOF blur I could get (from the lens alone, no "blur control" filter used)

jogiba, good first try with the macro lens. Those Kiron are built like tanks and are very sharp. Interested to see how it does with the Q. 500 fov really opens up some shot possibilites in macro photography. Have fun. Watch that tripod foot. You will probably be strengthening it soon. The Kiron is a heavy lens and the adapter has an underdesigned tripod foot. Ave fun.

Mock, that Angenieux looks like an amazingly sharp lens! Always heard they made good stuff. Bird image is super sharp. Incredible sharpness coupled with that large zoom range and speed. Have to research that lens a litle more. Was it shot wide open?

Great catch northislander. Can't imagine the odds of getting all the birds in the same position at the same time. If the Klingon have Q tehcnology we are all in trouble. Lol.

Tclausen, the tulips came out well. Q can do nice oof backgrounds if subject is close, as you have shown here.
I rarely use the Q blur control. Never know what it will do.

Barondia, the bird with the Angenieux was probably shot around f/4 if I can remember correctly. For the range I have given that lens the nickname of "Q-Bigma".
