Really keen for the 06.
As you should be I think. I just got mine today and I'm pretty impressed.

100% crop

Natural light (but there's not much of it today so I lost some sharpness to NR in pp).

Once I get the hang of the P&S thing, I think it's going to be a fun set up for candid portraits.

Thanks, Stan! I think this is going to be fun. I'm getting the adapter set-up together and waiting on the weather for a shake-down outing. The birds are on the move here.

Still working on proper settings on my Q. (02) lens. Bold Monochrome and Vivid color.

Fine shots, esp. straight from the camera as I take it they are.

I managed to get a deal on a new "Q" with the 5-15 lens. I think for $250 it was hard to go wrong. It won't replace my K5, but have wanted a small camera just to keep in the car and use if needed. I think this will be perfect for that. Should be arriving any day.

I think you'll love it. Surprises me almost every time, except maybe in low light but even then it's acceptable.

Thank you very much! They are indeed. Only the built in filters. I really am loving this camera. Just need to play a little more.

Last week our grandson wanted to go to the Calgary Carshow, so him and I went. Just took the Q with the 01 lens, here are a few:

A few days later we visited some friends, she is a young 93 (01 lens)

Last Friday my 06 lens arrived, went outside and took a quick test shot. This is about a 80% crop.

That's a terrific portrait with the 01, Heinrich! Have fun with the 06. I'm hoping to have more opportunity to use mine soon.

Good stuff. It shows that this little camera will more than meet the needs of all but the most demanding of photographers, or those with specialized requirements. The Q has given me a lot of fun, although I still need a regular film camera fix.
