Thanks much for the feedback. Yeah, I considered cloning out the power lines, but at least in the case of the first one, then you'd have to clone out the poles, and I thought the poles gave the photo kind of a sense of balance on the right side of the photo. I could easily be wrong about that, tho... I might try it & see what it looks like. :-)
Just take out the ones going from the closest pole over the house, the rest are fine.

Very nice, dreamy feeling in the first two :-)

I like the second shot a lot! Could also be a killer B&W I think.
Thanks! I tried B&W but just couldn't make it look good enough for me. Maybe I'll give it a second shot.

This guy somehow flew into the house.
Maybe its lost or dying?
Seems not to be flying away and staying on a empty jar.
Or maybe it wants some portraits taken with the Q!

Pentax Q; Vivitar 55/2.8 macro; f8 1/15 ISO125 (Metz48)

Edit :
It flew away in the morning, so most likely it just wanted a portrait posted on PF.

Got a like-new Q this week off eBay with the 01 lens and a 3rd party PK adapter. Was surprised at how small it is! So far I like it, although I have not done much shooting except with the 01. Excited to try a little birding if spring ever gets here with a 100mm lens or so. A few samples with the 01:
Great debut, enjoy the Q!

Note: Some power lines cloned out & & re-uploaded.

I really like this series of pictures. Wait until the homeowner finds out you cut off their electricity!

Nice! I noticed on my macros I get that funny looking bokeh in the out of focus areas such as the dragons tail. Is that from the sharpening?

Hahahaha :-) Thanks!

A B&W version of the puddle shot:

And the very first picture taken by me with my Q (apart from the test shots, of course):

Both taken with the 01 lens.
