My new Pentax Q10 arrived today and here is one my first shots with it.
Loved my original Q so much that I just had to get another one.

Thanks.
The 06 is a good lens.
I like its bokeh too.

Now it's time for the iso6400 Show

Taken on the Original Q, with zee Prime over new years. First time I had really been bothered with focus peaking honestly. Turning AF off (which was never going to work no matter how long that red lamp stayed on) and watching for the dance over the screen was fine. I'm nearly ready to be done with viewfinders all together.... .. ..

Lets be serious here, Iso 6400 is somewhere you should never be, but for the sake of my niece and nephew looking a) like a proper bass a**, and b) just being adorable, I'd go to 6400 again :P

My Niece won a slinky at the fair and insisted it was a piece of clothing thus modeling it so.

I am quickly finding out that I should never leave this camera at home.
Almost every situation has a moment to be captured.

Here are some Sea Lions sunbathing on the rocks. I shot these with my Pentax Q and NIKON NIKKOR 105MM F2.5.

Burrowing Owl and New 06

Burrowing owl outside his den. Normally quite skittish and head below ground rapidly. He decided to stand his ground. I do like this lens!

Feisty little owls! [img]
