Just started using the Q, Put it on a 1960's Tele-Takumar 400/5.6(on this the Q is a lens cap ) and it seemed pretty sharp even wide open but CA was bad. F8 it seems pretty good.

I shoot a lot of live music, but these images represent my first time with the Q7. The 01 and 06 lenses did a remarkably good job, but the light was pretty poor and the RAW files needed a lot of PP to get decent results. These were all shot wide open at ISO 400, and underexposed by up to three stops and then pushed heavily. White balance was also a bit of a nightmare, occasionally necessitating B&W conversion as the only salvageable option.

Very nice shots, even better considering the shooting conditions. Got to be happy with that

'D. Luis' bridge, a (cast?) iron's monument, it's a 'living' testament to a pre steel/concret era

Pelicans

My Q and SMC F 80-200 trying to catch some Pelicans fishing with manual focus, had some success. Ended up with only a few keepers, all shot at the 200 (1100mm) end of the zoom

Looks pretty good! Comments in this post helped me a lot with those situations: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/38-photographic-technique/233510-harsh-re...ss-detail.html
