Nice! But not that long, was it? Less than a second, to have the inside of the building that nicely exposed and with no star trail at all?

Exif says 15 seconds! I see some faint startrails

Cold and cloudy day not too much to shoot. All with Q and 06

Beautiful shot. Just answering the question: the bridge would be made from wrought iron (assuming it isn't steel), cast iron is very brittle and was only used for decorative elements.

Playing around with some new bellows and a ball point pen.

Q + Tamron 90/2.8 + full extension bellows @ F4

For reference

Edit: Wow I tried to change a water mark on a couple photos and screwed all my flickr links up lol

thank you and thank you for the clarification , just followed a wiki link to confirm that's iron and it's in fact wrought iron, exactly as you said

The 03 seems an excellent lens! A member posted a great photo from the 03 in fisheyeclub thread, and that copy of the lens had gone through the washer After I get the 06, the 03 is next I think

Northern Nevada went through a cold spell this winter. Lots of the local ditches and streams ended up with a decently thick layer of ice on them as the water continued to flow underneath. The weather has been warming up lately and the upper layer of ice has been melting. There are now openings on the upper layer of ice. Here's a shot of a ditch near my workplace which is opening up. The image was captured with a Q and an 02 lens, of course.

I climbed down onto the shore of ditch and made my way to one of the holes where I proceeded to lower my Q into the opening.

That's a hand held shot with the ND filter on. The shutter speed was 1/10th but I wish it was lower to blur the water. I still like this shot though. Then I turned the camera around 180 degrees in the same hole and I saw this.

I'm not sure what was making the pine needle wobble. It wasn't touching the water but maybe errant water splashes were hitting it just right.

Bottom line: the Q is fun to use!!
