Nice enough! :-)

BTW: The Q can use wireless triggers. You just have to turn the flash of the Q to "off" - and you have to use a lens with a built in shutter (01/02/06/08).

Have a look here for all the details: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/136-pentax-q/159246-definitive-manual-ext...-guidance.html[COLOR="Silver"]
Oh, thanks! I'll check it out.

Q7 & 02

Just a few shots with the new Q7. One of the improvements not stated in the reviews are the power and play buttons are easier to push. Joy of a camera to use

Q7 + 02

I'm digging this monochrome bold. Contentment is a sleeping dog.

Is Bold Monochrome another name for the B&W selection? If not, where on the menu does one find it on the Q?

no, bold monochrome is not the same as B&W, you can have it on the front dial when it's set to smart effects

I'll follow Hans with some from Fort Desoto, Siesta Key, and a Oneco cemetery Hawk

I was loosing trust in my Q. I bought it as a cheaper solutions for a long lens, I got some shots like this in the week, but they did not give the results I wished for. So I decided to go back to basics, Q+ 02.

This was last week already, spring is really announced:

Here is the restaurant linked to the swimming pool in town:

Corner of bar area:

Old town arch:

Main square in town:

Tourist office:

Yep the Q is fun and very portable

I'll be using the 06 on the Q7 every day this month.

I'm curious about something. I know the Q offers IS, but what is the probability of getting sharp photos handheld when you're at 700-1300mm, etc?

Very low. With no viewfinder, even keeping your subject on the LCD screen is difficult. Focussing is harder still.
In my humble opinion a tripod is a must.

If you really mean 700-1300mm (e.g. mirror lens?),
then next to zero.

But I've done it quite often with a 180mm lens on the Q,
which is the equivalent of over 900mm on 24x36mm.
Just "Keep calm and carry on!"

I struggle to get a decent shot with a 70mm handheld (35mm equiv just under 400mm) with the Q, and as said, focusing is a challenge as well. I am not very steady though
