Wow. That is a really gorgeous capture! Love the color, the detail, and the bokeh in the background. Just wonderful.

That is a great dragonfly photo! Here is SOOC JPG Neutral setting from the Q7 and the 08. The jury still out for me with this lens but I am optimistic. I have only had a few hours.

The lens looks great, I find that I need to tweak all my Q & Q7 images to get the best results out of the camera

My buddy and I visited a local park to check out some damage from a recent storm (winds were gusting at about 95MPH). Took my wife's Q along and got some interesting shots with it. Wish I'd gone out right after the storm happened and gotten some shots before people started to clean up... there were really big trees uprooted and laying on top of houses, completely crushed vehicles... tons of damage (and somehow we didn't even have any large branches down). But this was a couple weeks later, when I had a free evening.

The grassy part of the torn up area in the photo extends about 8 feet, maybe 9 off the ground. It wasn't the biggest tree down, just the one we got the clearest shots at. I really thought big trees had tap roots, but none of these apparently did.

Clearly the damage is not getting in the way of you taking beautiful photos. I especially like the first one for the way it shows off the 06.

Shots such as this using tree branches or something to frame the shot are among my favorite sort of shot. They seem to add depth.

Thank you. I was very pleased with it and it made standing out in the blistering sun just about worth it. JK - it was not as hot as it has been some summers.

Thank you. I think this was SOOC. I like the 06 a lot. Some images I process in RAW but others are good SOOC. I didn't do anything to this one except take it off the card. That's my favorite kind of post processing these days.

Footage was shot on pentax q + modified fujinon-tv 16mm f/1.4 at f/1.4. Color grading and rendering was done in Adobe Premiere with H264 output. Technically it's "moving picture"

I just got back from a week long road trip from Texas through Mississippi and on to Florida. I and took my Q along and I'll be posting pics as I process them. This one was shot with my Q and the 02 lens in Jackson, MS using the Bold Monochrome setting.
