Moved from another thread

There's been alot of nice shots posted. I still have less than 100 shots on mine, but I'll add a couple to the this thread in hopes of not bringing it down
I took these early this morning at a local park, one thing that's been surprising me with the Q is how hot the reds/oranges get recorded (these are shot raw). I had to lower the saturation on the 3rd shot and it still seems overly punchy, maybe it's just me. EDIT: It was just me, or LR4. I didn't notice or realize camera calibration was on by default in LR4, it was that or settings within it that were over driving the red and like colors. That might explain why I've been wrestling with LR4 all along, I've haven't been using it long at all. I might have to revisit these snaps.

I've recently been using in-camera HDR AUTO to extend the tonal range on B&W images. My really like what I am seeing.

Even without HDR, I remain very impressed with the Q's b&W.

Thanks, David. Here's another B&W HDR:

And for something different... A high-key color image. The heavy spherical aberration (especially at close focus limit) of the 5-15mm play really well with this look, IMO. I'll have to explore more.

Here's a high-ISO color shot stretched to the limit with reversal film mode and a custom WB:

A reversal film HDR... I've been using HDR a lot lately, I really like what the sensor does with HDR:

Another HDR, midday reversal film shot:

I also like the sharp grain with fine sharpness +1, NR low:

That sharp grain looks great sometimes.

For something different...

A few I took with the fish, from our trip to Hawaii:

Fun stuff.
