Did I really write "my like what I am seeing?" Oh, dear. That'll teach me for using an iPhone to post.

I agree! That's pretty superb for SooC from a tiny sensor. I've found the Q to have quite good Dynamic Range at ISO 125, but adding HDR makes it very close to the "feel" of a large sensor. Here are some tips for you:
1. Make sure you set ISO 125 manually. The Q will choose 250 if you have Highlight Correction set to ON or AUTO, and this will really reduce the effectiveness of the technique
2. You can't effectively judge post-HDR-merge exposure on the LCD, so you may have to re-take for optimal exposure. Know this if you don't look at your shots post-exposure, like me. You can tune exposure best in final HDR by metering off a dark or light object, depending upon the final look you desire. I assign AE-L to the "green button" which works very well for this.

HTH! Let me know how it works out for you.

Thanks. That was a cool mantis--I've not seen a green one in years. The funniest thing about this is my daughter asked... "I wonder if he's going to Kung fu us??"

Ahhh, autumn. Nice, enoske. I like particularly like the vintage feel of the 1st one.

I love square format--new challenges for the photographer, and a sense of calm, i think. I should shoot some with the Q. I've been burning some film lately in my rolleiflex, might as well continue the 1:1 on the baby Q.

As soon as I've some time left, I'll try this.

All taken with prime, horse pic is on-camera bold monochrome (with some over exposure issues on the bridle, lol), the rest are straight processed dng's.

Some of my first pics with the Q. I messed up some of them due to experimenting and forgetting about the quick setting dial. This is a fun camera!
(Sorry for the bad resizing made by the forums, but I this is straight from camera)

Here are some shots I got with my new Q. I have had it for about 2 weeks now and am learning it's quirks and strengths.
I have 6 DSLRs and a Pen E-PL1 and am really liking this little Q! It is so small and un-intrusive that most people don't even give it a second glance when I'm out shooting with it.
Some of the shots were taken in an antique store and no one seemed to notice I was taking shots, makes it a nice little stealth camera.
I also got an adapter for my Auto 110 lenses and one for my PK lenses, along with one of those LCD viewers. Still working on getting the hang of manual focusing with those setups.
Unless otherwise noted all of these pics were taken with the 01 prime lens. One thing that really impresses me is how well this camera does using the B&W mode.

One more! It's tough not to underexpose too much.

Wow, that's macro!

A couple of test shots of things on my table in near darkness, only lit by a distant TV and the computer, with long exposuretimes. Love the performance of the little maschine!

Thanks! I am really having fun with this camera! I am also enjoying all the pics that you and others have posted here taken with the Q.
To me it is just amazing what this camera can do, despite it having such a small sensor.
