This evening was met with a stunning sunset. I think I've hit the limitations of the Industar69 28/2.8. You can still see noise in the fog/light reflections despite aggressive noise reduction in LR. This was shot around f8 I think.

Congrats on your pic that was in Explore! It has nice depth and really smooth bokeh.
For the sunset picture, I think the limit is the sensor, not the lens. Only so much dynamic range can be pulled from the RAW files. I believe you could salvage this if you don't pull the shadows/blacks up so much, or reduce the exposure and brighten the whites/highlights.
I didn't post many shots from the car show/tractor event since the highlights were completely blown out and could not be recovered. I eventually realized this while shooting and altered the exposure or shot some 3 shot HDR brackets to get around it.
