Excellent closeup Shedking. High speed flash sync is very useful.

Lovely sunsets pinholecam. They have a 3D look to them.

kwb superb images. Particularly like the 02 pano. 02 doesn't always get the love it deserves.

Thanks everyone for sharing.

Thanks barondla, I like 02, convenient focal range and good for this kind of shot.
Also thanks for the reminder for P&S contest, I didn't know that there is such a contest, and that it accepts photos taken by Q series, but apparently it does. Maybe I'll consider submitting something.

Here is a rather fortuitous shot taken with an A135/2.8 and genuine Pentax adapter. I was taking repeat pictures of this flower in my garden, getting used to the adapter and the MF zoom feature to nail the focus, whilst trying to stop the motion of the flower in the breeze - I wasn't after the hoverfly at all. The range about 3m.

I was shooting JPEG as I was expecting to delete the files almost immediately. Normally I would be shooting raw.

The thing is, that flower is really yellow, not orange. This is clearly not a time to be using the Bright option, though it has worked for me in the past in duller light, especially indoors.

What is everyone's experience of the JPEG custom images? Any particular one stand out? Can you set up your own?

Q7 meets huge animals

I went to Natural History Museum of LA County and took some shots with 03 lens. Being on travel I don't have access to Lightroom on my home computer, so for now these are either straight out of the camera or with some enhancements with Photos on my laptop.

Triceratops and T-rex, this was challenging with slow lens and dim light, I ended up putting Q7 body on top of one of the poles around the exhibit.

Mammoth.

Blue whale.

Yes, their gem and mineral display was also awesome. I could have spent the entire day, I only had 5 hours though

You can see the distortion that occurs in the columns. I really like it and so I have the correction removed in the camera

Cool, do you live close to where you can observe totality? In my case it's probably about 2 hours drive from where I live. Sadly I'll be extremely busy around the time due to my job and I'm not planning to go.

Nice capture of family fun!

Toy lens series seem quite decent overall, I have 03 fisheye and love it.
