Custom Harley Davidson downtown Louisville

I’m pretty sure if there is any artistic value to this post it’s in the motorcycle and not the the photographs. I was downtown with a friend for the opening events of the Kentucky Derby Festival armed with a brace of Q7s and a bag’o’lenses. There is a reason I was carrying these photographic derringers instead of my usual DSLR gear but it’s irrelevant to this post.

We talked to the man who owned it. Said he started his own business at 21 and this was his 20 year anniversary gift to himself, it was a $40,000 build.

Truly beautiful cycle. Nice capture perfessor5646. The Q are great for recording life's diary.

Interesting place, good use of fisheye! Doesn't look like they're trading corn any more.

Great colors and bokeh. As a Japanese I REALLY miss cherry blossoms, seeing pictures like these brings some memories back.

Thank you for sharing, guys!

The garden

Just added Pentax Q-s1 to my stable. This is the first image I made with it. (Disregard the year in the EXIF data. My mistake: should be 2019). Shutter count 4 (!).

Tourist shots with Q7 and 08 zoom at the widest (3.8mm)

On a recent trip, I found myself using 08 wide zoom almost exclusively though I also had 01, 02, 03 and 06 with me. And I shot at the widest for the majority of the shots.

I don't claim that it had to be 08 zoom for the first one, but it absolutely had to be 08 for the second and third.

Grabbed the Q7 with the 01 prime for an afternoon walk through our old village (was first mentioned in a document in the year 975, but admittedly growing quite slowly) .
