I got the Q7 primarily for concerts. I used to use the RX-100 mk II, but found it didn't always have the reach I wanted for the distance I typically sat at the Hollywood Bowl.

Here's a few of my favorites. More can be found in my Q galleryCraigbob's Album: Q are you? - PentaxForums.com
I was impressed just to see the image, and then impressed more when I saw that many of these were with ISO 6400. You know how far you can push the limit to get the image you want. A great skill.

Piotrek K, I feel as if your images often show a similar kind of something that I cannot immediately pinpoint. That something might be the colors, your PP skill or maybe your adopted lenses, but whatever that is, it's great.

It was take a Q7 to work day so I took a few pictures of the flowers behind the building. Had to take several exposures as focusing was challenging but I got one acceptable photo. Cropped off a little bit in post but I like it.

The small insect is a feature not a bug...oh, wait. It is a bug, as well.
Nice Rhodo photo!

Q-S1 and a SMC Pentax 400mm f/5.6 lens.

Not that sharp, but not too bad for a first attempt. I need to drag out my heavy tripod next time rather than my normal use one!

I am always fascinated with the names of members who started these iconic threads and then are not heard from again. Any idea what RichardsonWilliams is up to now?

I googled around but haven't found any recent information. I hope that his life is good and that he's still taking street photos somewhere.

At the time of this interview from 2011 in a Bulgarian online journal, he's lived in China for 7 years.
Artist of the Week? Ricardson Williams *?*Public Republic

His last post on PENTAX Forums is on April 2012 and he wasn't sure if he'd keep his Q.

He used to use Flickr, the exif date of the last upload was 13 Feb. 2014 (not sure when it was uploaded).

Pentax Q-S1, 03 Fisheye lens. I was pleasantly surprised at this image given the 03 lens is a "toy" lens. Cross-posted with the fisheye images thread.
