I rarely use the somewhat odd 07 "shield mount" lens on my Qs, but this one seems to work.

Definitely not the best shot in the universe, but it is the first shot taken with my new (to me) Q7, so I'm taking the liberty of posting it here. I'm also quite amazed at just how tiny the Q7 is; next to it, my Ricoh GRii looks almost gargantuan.

I LOVE the Q system and wish Pentax would bring it back. Small and great to bike or hike with, even with a set of lenses!

fantastic quality - can't wait till mine arrives from Japan to start playing with!

A few more with the Q7 + the fish-eye (03) lens. It makes for some wild distortion - but I rather like the look.

A handful of shots from my new-to-me Q7.
The first two were taken with the 01 Prime lens; the third, with the 02 Fish-eye.
I'm continuing to be both surprised and pleased by the quality of images which this crazily small camera can produce.

A little more Fish-eye madness (taken with the 03 lens) - the first two were taken as RAW (dng) negatives and then lightly processed in Lightroom; the 3rd was taken using the Q7's rather extreme Bold Monochrome jpeg preset.

And then, just to even things out, one taken with the 01 Prime lens - of a broken pair of glasses, lying abandoned in the street, spotted during a morning walk around the small Oregon town where I live. Seeing them made me wonder - if they had been lost, or missed, and also what their former wearer might have seen through them.

Inside my 'Hanuman' lunchbox, the sandwiches will probably have curry, or chutney, or both
