Don't usually go in for flower photography but I also did some street photography today, which I also don't usually go in for, so I guess the Pentax Q is getting me to expand my horizons a bit.

Thanks, I have been playing around with PP on that one. Can't decide if I like the original or this version (with a two color filter applied).... thoughts?
I like them both very much and at first I was going to go with the second version but honestly after comparing them a little more I find that the original has a darker tone and ends up being more moody/evocative which I actually prefer.

After seeing all these cool shots done with little C mount lenses I'm starting to get kind of jealous! Might have to invest in some of those lenses and an adapter in the very near future.

Thanks, I agree about the darker tone on the original version.

As far as C mount goes, I am having a blast with the possibilities on the Q. Adapters are $7.15 on ebay. Due to the low cost I am leaving an adapter on each of the C mount lenses I bring with me to make it quicker to change lenses. That also lets me adjust each adapter for each lens to have aperture ring on top as well as and shimming if needed. Price on c mount lenses are all over the place but keep your eyes open and there are deals to be found.

Thanks! Wanted to go out and get more shots but the weather was turning nasty and the light was going fast so I just snapped some shots from the bush in my front yard. I guess work with what you got.

These are playing around with a 25mm F0.95 C mount lens I scored on ebay. All shot wide open as the aperture is not working on it, I will try and get it repaired.
Shawn - I don't think you need to repair anything on this lens - those first two images are stunning, absolutely stunning.

nice work,
erik.
