Perhaps the result of distortion correction being applied to the JPG?

Shawn
Makes sense, did not think of that!

Or software related as stated by ChrisJ.

The correction is only applied to the Jpeg, but it looks a lot croped.

As is by now my custom, something from the day and then something from the night, both with 01 standard prime.

Just thought I would mention to any of you posting from Flickr that there is a group called 'Fans of Pentax Q' that only has 12 members, so perhaps take time to represent

Marc-Antoine I like your pressure-cooker shot, very creative!

Yes, agreed! Had to do a double take to figure out what it was. The lighting gives it that sort of grind-house/Dario Argento look.

Nice pictures Henk. There are some very nice castles in France as well, I have taken many pictures with my DSLR but cannot wait to go and capture a few with my Q.

Agreed. Haven't been to France yet, but see the castles every year while watching the Tour de France and other bicycle races on tv. The castles and churches are magnificent.

First Q shot

My Q arrived today. I only had time for a few quick test shots while out for lunch. I make no claims for this one, but I'm impressed with the Q. Hope to have some shots worth showing soon.
