Unfortunatly, yes. Only lenses with shutters will let you use longer times.

Since I have had the same problem I wrote a program to combine exposures in RAW files. It's not polished for "normal people" use, but if you're comfortable at a command line I'm sure it could work for you too.

Edit: And now I've fixed a bug in it, so in case anyone actually downloaded it, they'll want to update.

Yesterday morning we had frost , this morning it's a bit foggy. Taken in the backyard with the 01 and FW1.10. Good weather for using a little negitive clarity in LR4.

I'm envious of that shot!

I'm afraid my shots are more mundane than most here. Went to the Gem & Mineral show this morning and took a few.

Here are two straight out of the Q, simply downsized a bit. Both taken with the same setting except the second is using the little front dial to do B&W. I'm finding it is reawakening something in me as a photographer to use B&W and not capture the image in color and then convert it. I know the camera is converting but it feels like shooting B&W with the screen showing you the framing in shades of grey. The first two are, obviously, taken with the 03 Fish-Eye.

These are mineral specimens that were particularly eye catching. These were taken with the 01 Prime and each specimen is about the size of a golf ball. The 2nd shot is under UVC light.

Neil, That's the craziest foot bridge I've ever seen. It's almost seems to defy gravity, nice shots.

Doc, Thanks for the trip Haven't been to a rock show in a long time. I wouldn't call them mundane though.

The one with the kid looking at the comic book prints is ace! More or less how I would have done it.

Some quick portrait style pics that people wanted. I tried out Portrait Professional for them. Not too bad I guess.

No excuse

Well the Rain is back on the north island for the next 7 or 8 months. The last few days have been really wet. I was complaining to my FB friends and family with a post about being stuck inside all weekend and not getting out to do some shooting.
My Smart ass nephew replies don't you have a Pentax you have no excuse lol. Anyway two pics from my Q one just out the window the other of my K5 in the rain just for him lol. I wish the Q and Q10 where WR.
