Two shots showing what the 06 Telephoto lens can do at the long end (pretty decent background blur for a small sensor.) I accidentally shot the 1st one at ISO 1000 (forgot to change settings) but it's not too obvious until you really zoom in. #2 is near the close-focusing distance (I think around 3 feet.) Some post-processing but no cropping on either.

Owning the Q for about a month. It's a fun camera. Sharing 2 shots.

I like the way Los Angeles can look after a rainstorm. 02 zoom, Auto HDR mode.
Looks great, and I think the 02 deserves a lot more praise than it's been getting.

Nice to see, and that bokeh does look pretty good. Looking forward to more samples from the 06.

Food porn and lens porn! Both very well done (and that is some glass on the K-01).

Those were taken by 01 lens. The only lens for Q i have now. Still thinking to get the 02 and 06 lens now.

handheld, available light only. christmas eve.

01 prime, Iso 250, f 2.0,1/100.

obviously massively under-exposed, boosted slightly in silkypix but even at iso250 the noise is very apparent, particularly in the dim reds at top of frame. I suppose I could have slowed the shutter down a bit to get closer to "correct" exposure, but i wanted the brighter area's to stand out from the general ambience. far from a perfect photo, i know. But i really like the general vibe and slightly surreal feel between the foreground and more, umm, "demonic" red hues in the dimmer area's. The Q for me has become a real "suck it and see" item that i carry with me all over the place and try stuff on the spur of the moment. even with just the 01 in my arsenal at this point in time. dim light and weird hues seem to be attracting me more with this little gem. I'm learning things, thats for sure.

but a question for those who know these things: is that "moire" in the white alter cloth? or just OOF effects (point of focus was the "bright" statue behind the alter)
